Firm History

The law firm of NEMETH, FEENEY, MASTERS & CAMPITI, P.C.  is the successor to two well-established South Bend law firms. The law firm of Nemeth, Masters & Schroeder was the successor to the law practice founded by Peter F. Nemeth and his son Peter J. Nemeth. The late Peter F. Nemeth served the South Bend community for over fifty years as a businessman, attorney and judge.

In 1995, F. Gerard Feeney of the law firm Feeney & Stratigos joined with James A. Masters to form Nemeth, Feeney & Masters, P.C. The late F. Gerard Feeney served the South Bend community for over fifty years as an attorney and was a popular lecturer on estate planning and business succession issues.

In February, 2007, Vincent M. Campiti became a member of the firm. The name of the firm was changed to NEMETH, FEENEY, MASTERS & CAMPITI, P.C.  in March, 2008.

Today, members of the firm are active in community organizations and governmental affairs. Current and former members of the firm have served in elected and appointed positions, including South Bend Mayor and Common Council, State Election Commission, Judicial Nominating Commission, Judge of the St. Joseph Probate Court,  Representative to United States Congress and United States Senator.
